Ora Matushansky

Ora Matushansky is Research Director at UMR 7023 (CNRS/Université Paris VIII/UPL) as well as Senior Research Fellow at Utrecht Institute of Linguistics (UiL OTS)


Ora holds a PhD degree in Linguistics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Doctorate en sciences du langage from Université Paris VIII as well as a BA in Linguistics and Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv University. She works primarily on issues pertaining to the syntax-semantics interface, with ventures into morphology and phonology and credits her interest in theme vowels to the influence of Morris Halle.
